Enough is Enough Painting

Inspired by the phrase said by a Chinese 28 years old woman, a friend of mine - when speaking about looking for a job, said she wasn't good enough for a certain position. I explained to her that in Shanghai, one of the world's largest industrial and commercial city of the world, and a city of 28 million inhabitants, she really has the chance to find the right job. I clarified that her "I am not good enough" wasn't the truth. She applied and got her dream job. The shape of a woman's face is cut out of cardboard, which was the packaging of very tasty Chinese Moon Cakes. I liked the cookies very much, and the packaging was of such good quality that I decided to use it:- ) So we may call it recycled art, collage, painting or whatever you want :-) The background is a series of six rows of hand-painted words "enough". The next layers are the letters that make up the word "enough". The last layer is the inscription "Enough is Enough". The cutout face shape is painted black and covered with varnish. The word 'NOT' is a cut-out, and "GOOD ENOUGH" is written with white paint. My idea for this painting was to make it clear that women should try to stop thinking about themselves as "not good enough", should build strong self-belief and should never self-diminish. And I am generally tired of hearing that women are not good enough. Size: 65cm x50 cm ( 25.5906 inch x 19.685 inch) painted area: 60x46 cm Painted on Canson 290 g/m2, (140 Ibs) (thick) paper with a linen canvas texture that provides an effect that is very similar to genuine linen canvas. In 7 days will be framed in a modern black frame + white 5 cm passepartout, so the price is for the framed artwork. As soon as I have it framed, I will add some photos.
