About The Artwork
My work took a fork in the road last year when i was given a new Xoloitzquintle puppy. I did not want a puppy.. I was extremely content with my 13 year old Xoloitzquintle. I have become a painter of dogs with little time to ponder abstract painting for the moment. Every moment is spent taking the 2 of them out for long walks on the beach. It is not a bad life. This is a small portrait of the new puppy "Eugene/ Epazote" . He is a beautiful mistake and I can not help myself from drawing and painting him.
