About The Artwork
It is the first time I saw the colorful autumn when I moved from down south to the Atlanta area. The colors on the tree, in the air and in the water amazed me tremendously. The experience is memorable and I put it down on my canvas. There are a branch and a few leaves floating on the surface of the pond. Hope it will bring you as much joy as it brought to me. I was born in Taiwan and have lived in the US for 30 years. I cannot say that I am an Americanized Chinese but a global citizen. I reside in Taipei, Taiwan, now. Though I started my art journey from Chinese painting on rice paper and silk, I have constantly been experimenting with new ideas and exploring new styles/techniques with different media to render my thoughts.
