Fallen Children. Painting

In this work I speak about the end of society's innocence. Childhood as the metaphor of innocence falls into a kind of limbo, something like an inconsistent emptiness. In it they submerge and mimic. Hence they have that foggy look. To express all this I chose the acrylic technique for the characters, a painting prepared by me based on high quality pigments and vinyl glue. For the white background that drips on the characters I chose the oil for its brightness that contrasts and highlights on the figures that are lost in the white as if they were submerged. This box is signed as Luque because until 2010 I was signing with my last name, after that year I started to affirm as MLR or M followed the current year.
