About The Artwork
Flowers are a major subject of mine, since I live near a wonderful garden. In this particular painting, I imagine a variety of irises growing together in a garden bounded by interesting trees, and styled in a manner similar to Japanese art. My style is representational, most of the time, and I use acrylic and mixed media for their versatility. I hope the viewer experiences the joy of observing the details throughout this painting. It is wired for hanging. I framing is desired, I recommend a cradle frame.
