This painting is my 7th and till today largest overpainted digital collage. It is part of the bigger THE PUPPENHAUS art project, a multidisciplinary story telling about the sense and nonsense of life. Get an overview here: .html The title of the artwork is based on the almost same name painting by Henri Rousseau and dedicated to the artist. Take the painting as a puzzle, as a "Suchbild". There are many reinterpreted appropriations e.g. from Roy Lichtenstein, Alex Katz or emojis in a fresh context. All 13 detail photos of the work you can find here: .html?lang=en_US&id=10411#detailphotos The artwork is ready to hang, no frame is necessary. The narrow side of the work is painted in the same colours that were used for the painting itself. An examble of the back view of the painting can be seen here when clicking on the detail photos: The reason for not showing any signatures or other information is to avoid copies, imitations or counterfeiting. GET FAMILIAR WITH WHAT YOU BUY: Once one of my here displayed artworks attracts you I like to offer a video conference to you eigther on Facetime or on Skype. When we meet there I can move your favourite piece of art in any direction, from front to back or narrow side or zoom in and out. Also you can talk to me and ask questions meanwhile. I think this is more than fair to get a bit more familiar with your object of desire before you spent your money. To get in contact pls. send your request on or email me office[at]

Stephan Reichmann lives in Berlin and Leipzig (Germany) and Paris (France). He is 100% full-time visual artist like paintings, drawings, collages, objects (mostly uses dolls), installations and videos. His abstract paintings can be best associated with abstract expressionism and when they come along with dolls they are pop art or surrealism or both. Stay tuned: .html.
