About The Artwork
I started with watercolour, added acrylic for highlights but then went to finish with oils to achieve the strong colours and textures. This is a Ferrari F50 GT which was never raced. It was designed to compete in the BPR Global GT Series against the McLaren F1 GTR amongst others. The series folded and Ferrari considered the FIA World Championship instead, but they disagreed that the homologation special Porsche 911 GT1 should be allowed to compete, so pulled out. Only three were built and are now all worth a fortune like all other rare Ferraris.
