fir trees Painting

The drawing is made with watercolors on paper with a 50% cotton addition, which guarantees its long-term preservation. I drew the sketch from life using the alla prima technique: paints on a wet sheet of paper. One of my favorite places where I feel calm and happy is the shore of Lake Vuoksa. The lake-river complex is surrounded by rocky shores and coniferous forest. The forest is beautiful at any time of the year or day. But it is especially pleasant to draw a landscape from life in the morning hours. In cloudy weather, the images and shades change hourly. I recorded one of these moments on paper. Slender spruce trees glowed with purple hues in the shade of the clouds flying over them, and part of the forest was illuminated by the sun. On the front side of the picture there is a vew of fir trees and my signature. On the back there is a signature, title of work and year of creation.
