About The Artwork

But the pleasures are like poppies spread, You seize the flower, it's bloom is shed, Or, like the snow-fall in the river, A moment white, then melts forever.".... - Robert Burns Wild Poppies.....a watercolor painting on paper, the fiery poppies among green grass presents an interesting contrast of nature's colours! The fiery red poppies, popping up in the wild grass is a mesmerizing scene! I see this beautiful scenery several times in the countryside and I painted this from my memory. The brightness of the poppies lights up one's mood although it gives the message that pleasures are momentary! A painting to spread happiness. I love to paint flowers and red is my favorite color. I use good quality paints and paper. Shipping: Paintings on paper are shipped in sturdy envelopes and protected by cardboard sheets and thin paper. Each of my paintings are shipped with a "Certificate of Authenticity".
