Do you remember your first sin? Adam and Eve commited their first sin in Heaven, and then they were sent to Earth, given the capacity to reproduce. For us it is a sin, although Adam and Eve were not properly married. In my belief, anything that is miracle-bringing (in this case lot of love and/or a new life) is not a sin, but a blessing. So better reevalutate your former sins as they may be a good thing, not a road to your damnation. The painting expresses our lust, pleasure, pain and amorphous mind when making love. It is such a primitive, yet intense way to connect with a person.
