About The Artwork
This painting shows an old lady I see very often on the street, selling flowers, no matter weather conditions. I feel so sad for all the elders without proper life conditions. Old and sick on the street. I tried to show here my feelings about her, tired and tortured face, unable to smile. Her world to me doesn't seem bright and happy, so that's why painting is black and white, as her outfit. Only flowers are golden, as they are hope, for help, for piece of bread today, for life. I am using "Artina" acrylics because of its quality and persistence. I find canvas very suitable for my work. There is no hanging hardware included.
