About The Artwork
This is the first time I tried painting on a big canvas! I love colour theory and the use of dimension and blending. I like playing with all sorts of mediums and textures. I'm fortunate enough to live in a beautiful part of the world with lots of beaches, mountains and trails, which inspired this piece. I use various types of brushes, mediums (acrylic, oil etc) and try to blend and layer them to create different types of textures. This piece was exhibited in the Art on Loop Europe in Paris.

Self taught. Originally trained as an optometrist in NYC, I also worked as a fashion stylist through school. This is where I began to get interested in photography, colour theory and the use of dimension and optics. The artwork started out as a photograph where I use light, shadow and colour to create an image, I then layer to add dimension to create a sculpture out of a photograph.
