ArtSwati is a visual artist of Indian origin, based in London .She is the winner of the Pure Prize 2015. My work is about touching a point where opposites meet , where the circle closes .I am interested in converting colours into light culminating in images of spiritual or luminous purity. Painting here serves as a means of communication for questions that can not be answered on an intellectual level, but can only be dealt with through subliminal experience. I explore the interaction of colour and light, Gradients and colors melt together softly, creating shimmers, through which it seems as if the colour is freed from the canvas's materiality, developing a life of its own.I aim at the dissolution of all dichotomy and surrendering the separations to find a single void .The work reflects my longing for the lush garden and forests, when I am confined at home in the wake of strange covid 19 times . I peep out of the windows of my mind and paint an imagery of green tranquility

ArtSwati is a contemporary artist of Indian origin, based in London. She is the winner of the Pure Prize 2015. Her signature narrative of lush tones and tranquil meditative layers was developed during her professional education in Fine Arts at the Art Academy London. Her luminous works invites the viewers to pause and step towards a deeply conscious and subliminal experience. . Her tonal paintings are rooted in the aesthetics of minimalism and appear to be contemporary colourfield. Solid, luminous, deep-set colours are the visual equivalent of her spiritual sense. Swollen with the Indian sensibility of pure colour, that is broken, blurred and repeated, her works provoke a transcendental interpretation.
