Storm in the Barents Sea: The Dutch ketch Bør makes a crossing in heavy weather between the continent (Sortland) and Spitsbergen where it charters during the boreal summer. She is seen here in March from the Norwegian coastguard vessel KV Harstad which was watching her closely to make sure no trouble happens. They were then about 100 nautical miles north of Bear Island (Bjørnøya) in the Svalbard archipelago. The weather calmed down the next day.
