About The Artwork

"Free From Fear" is about trusting God and having His peace even in the midst of chaotic times. This bird is rising out of a dark place and finding that peace. As we daily choose to trust in his promises we can see God working in the midst of our lives. The background is layered with palette knife techniques and brushwork giving a beautiful and rich texture that represents the passage of time.  This is a visual reminder that you can have freedom from fear. "I prayed to the Lord and he answered me. He freed me from all my fears." Psalm 34:4

Her work as a therapist informed her artwork as she learned more about how thought, emotion and behavior intersect in everyday life.
