About The Artwork
My favourite fairy tale in childhood was "The Little Mermaid" by Hans Christian Andersen. I admired her ability for unconditional love, to sacrifice everything for love, and I cried because her heart was broken. Today I still like the Mermaid, able to love, but I imagine her ready to say firmly: "I am free, I do not sell my voice and I do not need legs!"
