About The Artwork
From as long as I can remember, my portraits have always had an indian feel to it. I decided to explore that subject and make big paintings. Gestural paint brush strokes is my favorite and I tend to express myself and sway with the music, losing myself completely in the moment. In these strange times, I want to get back to my roots and history of our own country. Come back to the essential. The Native Americans have an interesting background and I love the way they used to think. The mysterious, the primal sentiments... I long for that. So here is the painting of Chief Wolf Robe...
