Oil on canvas 76x51 cm 'Green Pastures' R25 500 This painting representing Onderdal skool museum in Dal Josaphat/Paarl/South Africa, was built in1854 and is one of the earliest Afrikaans schools and also the meeting place of the 'Genootskap van Regte Afrikaners'.Afrikaans is the youngest language originated from Dutch,Portugese,English,Xhosa and still growing and transforming a superb example of heritage and social cohesion. This property forms part of the early historic farms in the Drakenstein Valley-south africa/Western Cape granted to French Hugenots in 1690.
