About The Artwork

What/who inspired the work? This painting shows the intrinsic relation between the mystical pyramids and the magical water surroundings of Giza. The Main role is placed on the ballerina who dances in rhythm with the nature around her. She feels unique and untouchable. The fish is the interactor. A red Tilapia fish represents not only the interactor but the one who would love to know the beauty, to achieve a connection. He is highly reproductive and willing to put his life at risk for her, no matter the circumstances. The Steppe eagle represents the observer, the one who oversees everything and has his view of the world. The white yellow Plumeria flower represents grace, the new beginning, or birth. What do you hope its viewers will feel/think? The geometrical squares composition helps the viewer to transcend his view to different fields of deepness within the composition immersing himself in a dreamy world. The hexagonal perspective compositions represent the refraction effects of the sun across the different fields of deepness. The radial sun rays imply an abundance of life & plenitude. The moon is the main celestial body after the sun, it represents the magnetic force that interacts with all the living beings on earth, most of them composed mostly of water. Why did you choose the medium, subject matter, and style? I have chosen acrylic on canvas because offers me the versatility to produce the same effects of older masters of paints and control the layerings. My subject matter is unique, no one is doing this style of painting with the amount of technique and know how I applied into it. It’s a very complex process, that I made look simple by emphasizing the presence of nature. My style relies on pure figurativism and a mix of unique techniques of multi-stenciling and layering transparencies that make this Art Unique. Out of the box.
