About The Artwork
The figure covers her breasts and looks on in warm tones over solid black. Various areas drift from tight to loose. I am particularly happy with how the face and hair came out in this painting, as it is a good likeness but also successful in technique. The actual painting image is 12”x24”. Frame: Gold frame with an organic yet repetitive pattern similar to narrow petals, such as those of a sunflower, radiating outward from the image. A solid straight line encases this pattern on each side. The color compliments the figure's blond hair and flesh tones well. This painting was created on hardboard.
