Gold fish Painting

Based on Russian folk tales of folklore in the work of Tatyana Novikova, a number of paintings were created, including her first works “The Bird of Paradise Sirin”, “The Frog Princess”, and the cycle of paintings “The Bird of Paradise Sirin” that followed (morning, afternoon, evening), "The Little Mermaid", "Messenger", "Boyaris", "Prince Igor and Princess Olga". The Golden Fish is written on the theme of a fairy tale about an old man who caught a magic fish and let it go, and she fulfilled his wishes. The painting is built on the game angles. The horizon line is intentionally blurred. The magic roar, perhaps, is really visible through the water column, and maybe the old man, sitting on the shore, only dreams to see her, and she, like a dream, rather soars in the sky with the birds. The “look” of the artist, as if from a higher point, was typical of landscape painting by the teacher Tatyana Novikova, an outstanding artist Nikolai Ulyanov, in particular, because in “Stalin time” artists were forbidden to paint on the streets in Moscow, and landscapes were painted from the studio window. Tatyana Novikova this perspective was rethought as a kind of "cosmic perspective", often used in her canvases. Painting size: 50*35*1.5 cm (H*W*D). Oil painting covers the entire visible surface of the canvas with a size of 50*35 cm (H*W), in addition, under the frame are the edges of the canvas that are attached to the underframe. The painting is painted on a primed canvas stretched over an underframe (1.5 cm thick). Plastic frame in golden silver-white tones. The size of the painting with a frame is 55*40*3.5 cm (H*W*D). The painting with the frame is visible on the additional photo. The painting can be hung on the fishing line, which is already attached to the frame on the back side. The photo with the frame on the left side of the painting shows a narrow shadow from the frame. On the frame there are light defects (see photo). Preparation for delivery may take longer than usual 2-3 days (for example, it may be 6-7 days).
