The picture is allegorical on the theme "Time for Life" when everything is important to us and "Time for Death" when nothing matters anymore. Here the image of people is allegorically replaced by a flock of sheep going to the slaughterhouse. Neither the fountain and the jug of water, nor the sky and the clouds, nothing matters anymore. The life of this flock of sheep should end on a summer day at three o'clock in the afternoon.
