About The Artwork
Bakota, Podilsk Tovtry, flooded village, the place of power, located in Ukraine. There is a beautiful legend about a flooded village in the south of Khmelnytsky region. It is as if at the bottom of the Dniester, under a 40-meter thick water, there are houses and collective farm piggeries, orchards and ancient cemeteries. In sunny weather, all this can be seen and even heard as the current used to ring bells in ancient churches. The village is called Bakota, Ukrainian Atlantis.
