Grid 4 Painting

Grid 4 is a painting in the series with grids. A recurring element are the rectangular figures. They correspond to the back of a container and together form a web of containers. But they could also be stacked ladders. But it can also be a net that disappears into the depths. When creating this work, I was also inspired by more abstract versions of Aboriginal art. The work is quite dark. The background is black, applied quite roughly. The lines are off-white and cool blue gray or a mix of these. This creates movement and the net even lights up here and there. Like a starry sky.
