About The Artwork
This work is inspired by two great cultures. On the one hand, the magnificent masks of the African continent and the artistic nude and classical beauty of the European continent. The model wears a mask that hides her identity, however it hides one of her breasts. Eroticism is born from partial nudity. To collaborate with the sustainability of the environment and natural surroundings, the work is painted in recycled wood, for which some of its corners may have slight bumps, however the image is in perfect condition and can be seen without any problem . The oil was chosen for its luminosity, resistance and for the textures it provides. In recycled wood to create art without killing more trees. The image, the composition is classic. Busco en la y el espectador dos estados, uno en el gozo y el conmover y, por otra parte la reflexión sobre el tema, así, quizá al observador de la pintura "Mujer con aves" llegue a reflexionar sobre cómo solemos clasificar a los animales en dos grandes e injustas categorías: los animales bellos, útiles y dóciles y en otra a los feos, estorbosos y salvajes - agresivos. Entonces podría ayudar a sentir de forma distinta el mundo circundante. Uso el óleo o la acuarela como técnicas pictoricas. Cada una de ellas me da oportunidades distintas de expresión.
