About The Artwork

Watercolor on 300gsm Arches CP. paper. Saurashtra is a vast & abundant land of agriculture, cattle and authentic heritage. People bring their herd of cattle to green forest & meadows for grazing. During the whole day they enjoy tea with their smoking in their unique ways of sitting posture, I accompany them to the nearby forest all day. While observing their ongoing activities I can notice how tension free and full of life they are. These moments of them which are fearless, worry less about future, that appears on their innocent and dark faces, with a complete feeling of satisfaction, is what I imbibe capture and create which are reflected in my paintings. I was inspired by their dark complexion, dirty white attire and very bold yet sober way of sitting. I try to represent their moods style gestures and transform them in my paintings with water colour technique My ultimate ambition is to bring their simplicity and unique ways into reality with my paintings.

I born in the year 1972. (Bhavnagar, Guj. India) I have completed my studies (B. A. with sociology) from Bhavnagar University (Guj.) in 1999. Now I am living and working at Bhavnagar. Most of my paintings are watercolor and acrylic. I have exhibited my works in numerous group shows and one man shows and at the same time I have achieved award from Lokmanya Tilak All India Art Exhibition-Pune, 2005 as well as I was invited as an artist in different parts of India My formal training in painting began under guidance of well-known artist Khodidas parmar. Especially in water colour with Wash Technique. My experience so far has helped me to develop a strong foundation on which I began my career. However, he was the encouragement till date of my talent. In my view water color and wash technique is important to represent origin of art and original form of any realistic object and life....I see history through present form of every living and stills. I have always tried ancient art alive in its own contemporary form. Transparency of this unique wash technique enhance the art to understand its original form. The unique tendency of this art has inspired me to keep this ancient and traditional water color with wash technique alive.According to me colors and shades are the biggest heritage on this earth. Color is identity, Color is the life. Transparency is necessary for where coordination and healthy representation is required. It has a fantasy of multi Layered colors and shades, which enhances the heritage of this unique water color with Wash TECHNIQUE.All those arts are based on real life. Hence, personally I believe that this unique art must be kept alive and show must go on. It is the great combination of realistic and contemporary. For those specific reasons of keeping this art alive.
