Stuffed animals accompany the early years of each of our lives. Every child has their favourite stuffed animal, whose name and character they believe to know intimately.
The stuffed animal is the most faithful companion on one’s first paths. Teddy and co.’s sunset years, on the other hand, are less romantic. For the most part, the worn-out lifetime companions are put away in plastic bags and abandoned to clothes moths.

The stuffed animals from the attic interest me as models, for they, like a human counterpart, have their own life stories, which appear drawn onto their faces. One begins to wonder about all the experiences they may already have lived.
