About The Artwork
In ancient Slavs year began in the spring, the New Year began with the revival of the surrounding nature and mother earth awakening from winter sleep, the first plowing and sowing. Spring magnificently and joyfully greeted with songs, dances and games. These songs are called freckles or Hayivka - the word comes from the grove (Ukrainian: гай, [hay]) - venue of the ceremony.

Works in the field of easel painting (history painting, landscape, still-life, modern, surrealism, abstraction). Participant in all-Ukraine and international exhibitions.
