About The Artwork
Haystacks always reminded me of the ones the French impressionist Claude Monet did in his studies of light during certain times of the day. The window to paint these beautiful compositions was very short because the farmers would load them and have them stacked as soon as they were dried out, which was only a few days. I saw this gem in my travels and used Windsor and Newton professional oil paints on Ampersand Museum quality panel.
