Heed The Last Words of Claudius - Acrylic on sign cloth Inspiration: Painted after a futile battle of words with someone who lacked common sense. The piece reflects my attitude about so many things in the world today and of letting things take their course. Heed The Last Words of Claudius: "Let all of the poisons that lurk in the mud hatch out". Series: Dark Mind - Sometimes my expressive nature gets the better of me. I'm generally a smiley guy, but with a dark spot not so far from the surface.

I avoid figurative subjects unless they play a requisite role in a concept. I find abstract work a much more direct expression of intimate emotions and sensations, as well as a better conduit to convey them to others. Whether it be triumph or desperation, tranquility or risk, visual context and provoked feelings are left to the interpretation of the viewer.
