Heliotropia Painting

Helianthus, or the Latin name for "sun flower" because the stems and leaves of this plant grow as if towards the sun (scientists call this feature "heliotropy"). Sunflowers can remove toxins from contaminated soil such as lead, arsenic and uranium because they are natural soil deactivators. They were used to clean up places where some of the biggest environmental disasters in the world happened - Chernobyl and Fukushima. The sunflower not only looks like a miniature sun, but also needs a lot of sunlight to grow, gives beauty, helps nature, produces and attracts not only bees, but also all lovers of beauty. Isn't it the same with humans - give us sunshine and fresh air and we can do great things with our lives!
