About The Artwork
This painting is a very passionate creation of mine. Being a hypochondriac and always obsessed with my blood results and also constantly worried about my health. This piece captures the elements of health, medicine, life and mortality. This painting is done on wooden panel with beautiful gallery sides measuring 1 3/4 inches thick so no framing is needed. Painting is ready to hang. Painting was created with acylic, spray paint and numerous cellulose acetate sheets with various blood lab test resluts of mine. These are later secured with 30 steel bolts into the wooden panel. A very nice piece with a great effect. Painting is signed DR DEFIANT which is Jim Richards alias name lower right. Signed, titled, and numbered on the back of the painting also.
