About The Artwork
I love returning home to Montenegro, arriving at Tivat airport. If you are lucky with the weather and the clouds do not completely cover the ground, then a magnificent panorama opens up from above. The plane turns around the mountains and flies low over the coast. Here is a wide strip of Buljarica beach, then the pier of the Petrovac fortress and two tiny islands with a church on top. The charming island hotel Sveti Stefan has a graceful silhouette. Further on are the green hills of the island of Sveti Nikola, looking like a huge beast immersed in the sea. And absolutely postcard views of Budva, with its tiled roofs of the old city and sharp spiers of bell towers. The plane descends to land, and finally I’m home. Hello, Montenegro! The painting was created in a stretched canvas with the painting continued around the edges of the artwork. The painting is ready to hang, no frame need.

Art has always been present in my life, and I chose a creative profession - an architect. At university, we spent many hours in art classes, developing our skills at painting, drawing and composition. After graduating, I worked as an interior designer for many years, and I adored my job.I lived and worked in Russia, but I always dreamed of living near a southern sea. And my dream came true, two years ago I moved to Montenegro. Now the first thing I see when I wake up in the morning is a blue sea framed by cypresses and olives. Beautiful nature and fantastic views of the Adriatic coast inspired me to return to painting. I hope that I managed to express in my painting all my admiration, my delight, my emotions, and that they will bring the joyful Mediterranean atmosphere into your home.
