About The Artwork
When Reis moved his design studio and residence to rural Yorkville, California, he came into close contact with Mendocino County winegrowers, wine culture, and wine events. He designed wine labels, designed and oversaw construction of the highway entry signs announcing the Yorkville Highland appellation, and created original art posters for wine events in the region. A sophisticated cowgirl savoring a glass of local red wine embodies the casual atmosphere and down-home charm of the Yorkville Highlands festival of 2006.
