Artist profile: INIOVORUA PIUS OWHORHO is a contemporary multimedia artist who hails from Delta State of Nigeria. He started drawing at a very tender age and had his Primary and Secondary School Education in Benin city, after which he proceeded to Auchi Polytechnic Auchi, Edo State. were he bagged his Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in General Art in 2018 and Higher National Diploma (HND) 2022 as a Painter in the Department of Painting Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi Edo state, Nigeria. he is inspired by Mr kent Onah (painter) and Dr Suleman Dauda (painter) two painters who uses unconventional ways to explore their works, Pius uses his art as a messenger or a message to talk about human moods, emotions, cultural and human indentities, the situations in the societies and human values. his expression with acrylic paintings stands out amongst other media he uses, his early experience helped him to develop his talent of pencil,pen,oil, pastel and water colour these are the basis of his acrylic paintings which illuminates the essence of human existence to it socialisation. He has exhibited in both group and joint exhibitions amongst the exhibition are: "Life in My City 2018", The "Effects of Covid-19 on Artworks 2021" Auchi Polytechnic Levi unit(ii) 2022 Abuja, and one international Exhibition "The contemporaneous of the sacred 2022" in Basilica Rome.
