Huge Fishes Painting

I am from Taiwan and now a London and Windsor based artist/illustrator. In my work, I express emotions and communicate through painting with colours. With regards to the making of picture books for children, I am concerned with emotional education and emotional wellbeing. Though I am dealing with complex subjects, I am interested in using simple stories to address them. My passion has always been drawing and painting since I was a child. However, my experiences in becoming an artist are quite unusual. Before I finished my degree in Illustration Animation at Kingston University (2017), I actually completed my bachelor degree in Business Accounting (2012) in Taiwan; I then left for Australia for 8 months, on a working holiday visa, to experience and travel. I work both traditionally and digitally (Photoshop). I usually work with acrylics/oils and mix with dry media (e.g. pastel, lnktense, colour pencils) to create handmade work with layers of tangible texture. When I paint, I feel happy and peaceful and I hope to create work that audiences can have positive emotions from.
