About The Artwork
I first started this painting in 2014 and kept it hidden away. I rediscovered it this new year and knew I had to use my new red crayon on it. I felt it was sort of like when you have a brand new sketchbook and you don't always want to draw on the first page because you're a bit scared, what I call 'first page nerves'. This is a very positive piece reminding you to take a dive, there is no need to hold back from something you enjoy. This piece is created on mdf wood with a gesso background that has been sanded so is very smooth to the touch. This piece can be easily hung with a French Cleat hanging system which is included.
