It is 2016 Somewhere in the East of London He was just standing there Just before I woke up As real as day He just did not phase Exactly in my bedroom Standing in the only space on the floor Where the bedroom joins the bathroom wall But it was no longer joined Miss matched mesh The two stood together Dressed like a city slicker With his neck bent downward Right next to the shower curtain 'When all the dots line up!" This is my impression of this clear as day Real like my big toe image Which came fast But an impression that still lasts In the middle of lucid dreaming.... Created with tooth picks, polar and Hog hair brushes. Using Oils from established brands Winsor & Newton Lamp Black and Titanium White both Series 1 created the backgrounds. Daler Rowney Georgian Collection Primary cyan and Coeruleum blues mixed, feature against a mix of flesh tint, from the same collection. All sourced from Cass Art in London's Leicester Square and applied to an an old-battered-dented canvas, which previously had a landscape painting. This is the second time I am actually negotiating oils. This time on a dried gesso surface. It has been quite an experience, and a real lesson in patience, actually remembering to wait for the paint to dry. In fact at the time of this upload the canvas is only actually partly dry. So it is a science, strategy and method that I am in the process of becoming accustom too, in-between finding the products which speed up the process. Maybe not the done thing in the world of professional art, or maybe it is. I started the process of sharing my creations so...self consciously, feeling every single insecurity available. Now...I have gone past caring about my art, as art and that is meant in the best possible way. In the form of being and feeling so surrendered to what it is. Past even being bothered if it can be called art. The process is about health. It literally has become about releasing into an unknown abyss of health that seems to heal everything that has been in the space. Of non release, and becoming healthier in the process of beginning, doing, and completing. I attribute that to having a process which provides a vehicle to let go! A mysterious figure of a man appeared to me like a contemporary angel...
