The painting depicts a storm and the god of the Wind intent on manifesting his grandiose mind power unleashes the storm on the seashore. The waves crash on the coast with force and destruction as a thunderstorm advances threateningly from the sea colliding on an old medieval tower. The divinity holds an embryo in his womb, what will it represent? To the curious observer, he will have to find out. The epigraph at the bottom left tells of a brief hermetic synopsis of late Renaissance origin that tries to give a philosophical explanation to the story-telling of the painting.
