Enrique Pichardo's 2.13 x 75 work of art, acrylic on wood, is named for its dimensions. In this elongated format, Pichardo shows us free and primitive strokes that form silhouettes and characters who play and coexist with colors such as orange, green, yellow, white, and black. His lines evoke tales of great artists such as Joan Miró, Pablo Picasso, Piet Mondrian, Paul Klee, Jackson Pollock, José Manuel Merello, Juan Gris and Albert Gleizes. Being the style of the unique master, with a mixture of everything that he defines as Naif. Enrique Pichardo is a renowned exponent of contemporary Mexican expressionism. Paint like a child, paint with more expression than technique, paint with feeling over method, is the stamp that has caught the attention of collectors worldwide.

Mexico
The Mexican plastic artist, Enrique Pichardo, has more than 30 years of experience as a painter. His technique and style combine artistic influences from other countries with the traditional Mexican influence. In his own words, he defines his art as naive expressionism. The plastic work of Enrique Pichardo has more than one aspect. On the one hand, he creates works that are densely populated with shapes, figures, and colors. On the other hand, he has abstracted urban landscapes with a neutral color palette that recreates everyday situations. However, the special characteristic that maintains the cohesion of all his pieces is the conviction of approaching art through a return to his childhood and his first traces. Paint like a child, paint with more expression than technique, paint with feeling over technique. The painter seeks the skillful strokes of his inner child to carry out each of his pieces.
