About The Artwork
The panting was inspired by a pre global pandemic conversation I had with a friend who expressed feeling like everyone judged him because he like to have a drink in the evening and smoked a cigarette or two during the day. It seemed to us eveyone was villanozing one another for little things like: not being vegan, or not looking like a model, or looking like a model, etc., etc. It seemed to my friend and I that attitude of the 60' when many people made no excuses to seek love, and a good time were sorely missed. Thus the painting where the couple is having a cigarette, a drink and is very happy in its natural environment. The birds, the plant,s, the moon all seem to agree its a happy and fun time and a moment which we all need more of. I hope all viewers get that happy feeling when viewing the painting!
