Into the water Painting

Yoan Linares is a contemporary and conceptual artist with a solid background in art history. His work includes painting, photography, video, and art installations. Several of the recurring themes in his artwork are substantially philosophical. His creations flirt with the strangeness between the mystery of the art piece and the observer. By cutting fragments of ephemeral pieces of reality, the intimate poetry, sketches in solitude or even that drawing in the imagination, the artist approaches to what he names the rare instant: a fleeting moment that allows to emancipate the artist to capture a direct dialogue between the mystery of the work and the viewer.
