About The Artwork
Inspired by the fading Victorian remains of Brighton's West Pier. An intricate construction of ironwork. An impressive rusting, fading, structure....a reminder of a strong Victorian past. A beautiful feat of engineering, with each seasons storm, the ironwork fades. I have watched the slow dereliction of the pier over the last 30 years.....I feel compelled to document its iconic presence...before stormy seas leave just a memory.
