About The Artwork

This painting is wonderful tribute to the awe inspiring gardens of the summer or spring, which encompass the radiant and elegant beauty of flowers and nature. The vibrant colours emanate health , joy and contentment while the ravishing strokes signify a feeling of ripeness and the readiness of bloom and bursting of passions. There is something entrancing about the symphony or myriad of colours which also emanate a look of regal beauty. You can get immersed and lost in these gardens which are full of romance and passion.

Natasha B is a self-taught artist whose work utilises bright and bold colours in her fearless approach to creating dramatic and often statement pieces. Her artwork reflects a punk spirit and exuberance, the cult edges and angles infused with her experiences of growing up in London. The neon colours beam euphoria and playfulness as they cut against dark contrasting backgrounds mirroring the harsh choices we make as we grow up. There is however a versatility in her work which punctures through genres effortlessly, reflecting her own journey in trying to find order and beauty in the chaos surrounding us. To show how the darkness in our lives can be fought by the purity of kindness and love. Her romanticised notion of beauty permeates through her artwork, with earthy hues inspired by the countryside around Manchester where she is currently based. Natasha mixes use of spray paint with acrylic paint as well as contrasting pallet knife techniques. Natasha states “There is never a plan or an idea in executing a painting. I try to tell a new story each time through spontaneity and imagination, as these are my tools in creating great art” "Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up" - Pablo Picasso
