Jean-Jacques Goldman pop art by Hans Veltman. Jean-Jacques Goldman, born on October 11, 1951 in Paris, is a French singer-songwriter, producer and guitar soloist of variety and pop rock. After playing in various music groups. However, it is his solo career that makes him one of the most popular singers of his generation, with titles like Il suffira d'un signe (1981), Quand la musique est bonne (1982), Je te donne (1985) or Là-bas (1987). From 1990 to 1995, he was part of the Fredericks Goldman Jones trio with the French-Galician Michael Jones and the American Carole Fredericks, before resuming a solo career, interrupted in 2004. In total, he has sold over 30 million records under his own name. Goldman writes and composes for many other artists, (Johnny Hallyday, Celine Dion ...), but also for film scores and TV credits. Committed to humanitarian or charitable causes, he is regularly elected as the favorite personality of the French despite a musical career interrupted since 2004 and a deliberate media discretion.
