I love horses, and I love to paint them and more recently their riders too! I work out of a tiny space up on a Scottish hillside overlooking the Moray Firth and the mountains to the north. Its boiling in summer and freezing in winter. I've been around horses pretty much all of my life and been very lucky to have had a number of beautiful ones in my care. Being so close to them every day has given me an in depth awareness of their anatomy as well as their spirit.
