About The Artwork
This painting is called ‘Killer Cop’, done using acrylic ink on a canvas board. This painting is the third Mark has done recently mixing it up by bringing Abstract and Modern Art together. And with the recent Police issues in the USA, Mark is painting this to show just how they are perceived by many people of colour. The red represents the same colour blood that we all share. The green represents the lack of knowledge and inexperience a lot of them seem to have. The dark Blue is the colour of their uniforms. And finally the silver hand is the gun they use to destroy lives be it right or wrong.
