LOVE series nr 4 Painting

Lex Ubbink lives in The Netherlands and is painting in oil, looking for a perfect balance in color and composition. In 2009 he created his "LOVE" series, in which the letters L O V E transform to primary forms: rectangle (L), circle (O), triangle (V) and square (E), one and another in the primary colors 'Red, Yellow and Blue'. The series consists of several works (oil on canvas). Another series "Colors" consist of 3 works (oil on canvas). Completed at the end of 2012 are 2 works "Windmill in Red Yellow Blue" and "Typical Dutch Windmill". Based on his LOVE series he created between 2010 and 2013 a NUDES series, in which the primary forms in primary colours were combined with the contour lines of nudes. Between 2010 and 2016 a lot of pixel art paintings were created, based on iconic pictures (like New York) and iconic celebrities.
