About The Artwork
This is a mixed media piece depicting the stunning Lake Moraine in Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada. It mixes pyrography and acrylic paint on a 7.25x11 piece of pine. My process to make these pieces is as follows: Draw on the lines with pencil Burn in the lines my wood burning tool Paint in the spaces Burn the edges of the wood with a torch Seal the piece with a clear gloss covering You can watch the whole process on my YouTube channel!
