About The Artwork

Yavne'el is a small settlement in the Galilee in Northern Israel. Many people who live there are farmers and the town is proud of its agricultural history. While wars were being fought on its hills just a few decades ago, farmers had to continue their groundbreaking work to ensure that there would be food to eat. Today the town boasts several spots where old farming implements are on display, reminding residents and visitors of its proud heritage. This red tractor is a landmark at the entrance to the town, standing in the middle of a small traffic circle. Looking at the painting, the observer can almost feel the circular movement as he drives around the roundabout. Original watercolour painting.
